Rebekkah Carney Co-Owner of Your Chicago Doula

Rebekkah is a Certified DONA Birth and Postpartum Doula who specializes in midwife-led unmedicated births, VBACs, and evidence-based childbirth education, with advanced certifications including VBAC support, Spinning Babies®, GentleBirth, and more.

A former engineer of 10 years, she uses her analytical skills to support families with informed decision-making, positioning techniques to help your baby and body work together, and partner guidance.

Birth Support Fee: $2,600

Amber Knowles Co-Owner of Your Chicago Doula

Amber provides family centered care to all birthing people. She believes in your innate strength and ability to birth, and in the importance of being given options that help you feel safe, while encouraging you to meet your own goals.

Amber feels extremely gratified by working to bring birth autonomy and advocacy to our community by wrapping her clients in unwavering support in their pregnancy and postpartum journeys.

Aubrey T.

Aubrey is incredibly passionate about providing evidence-based education. She believes the best birth plan is the one that feels right for you, whether you are having your baby at home, in a birth center, or at home. As a birth doula and lactation counselor, her goal is for you to walk away from your birth experience feeling empowered and confident in your ability to feed your baby.

Jillian loves being able to help reassure and center the families she works with. She aims to be the calm presence that helps you find your voice in the birth space to help you achieve the birth you desire. Jillian believes in the importance of a cohesive birth team and wants all of her families to feel strong and heard in the birth space.

Sarah’s approach is rooted in attunement—noticing what’s needed moment to moment while helping maintain a calm, grounded atmosphere. Her priorities are helping clients identify their own preferences and creating a safe space for their voices to be heard as they make informed decisions.

Our Support Model

  • Text, phone, and email contact available as soon as you hire your doula.

  • Prenatal 1: Virtually, shortly after choosing your doula to help prepare your mind and body for birth. (90 min)

    Prenatal 2: In your home, around 36 weeks of pregnancy to discuss the final weeks of pregnancy, your birth preferences, and what to expect as your labor starts and progresses. (90 min)

  • Unlimited virtual support in early labor as you focus on rest, nourishment, and hydration.

    In person support as labor progresses, when you need more physical and emotional support, ideas for coping, and advocacy.

  • Your doula can answer questions about baby and your mental/physical recovery

  • A chance to reconnect, reflect on birth experiences, and provide resources that may be helpful to your unique journey.
